Chimaraoke O. Izugbara, a Senior Research Scientist, at the African Population and Health Research Center in Nairobi, Kenya, is the Guest editor for special issue alongside Eleanor Krassen Covan, HCWI Editor-in-Chief

Health Care for Women International (HCWI) is an official Journal of The International Council on Women's Health Issues. 

The journals covers issues on Aging and Health; Behavioral Sciences; Gerontology/Ageing; Health & Society; Health and Social Care; Maternal and Child Health; Medical Sociology; Mental Health; Psychological Science; Public Health Policy and Practice; Social Policy; Social Sciences; Sociology & Social Policy; Supplementary material; Women; Women amongst others subject area.

This issue is featuring 23 peer-reviewed articles. The original papers included in this Special Triple Issue from Health Care for Women International offer insights to strengthen our understanding of the dynamics and drivers of health and wellbeing among women in Africa.

    I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
    liver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
    reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
    became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
